An organic flow runs through my pieces of jewelry, like a river running its course, twisting and turning, ebbing and flowing. Movement is key. Moving around the body finding its place around the neck, wrist, or finger, my jewelry finds its home. Often inspired by the creatures that live in exotic bodies of water, my jewelry comes to life in a wearable form. The wearer gives my jewelry a place to rest, a shelf to be admired and displayed, to form interactions with and have fun, to shine and be the focus of all attention.

The wearer is adorned in bright splashes of color juxtaposed by the cool or warm tones of metal. Color, from fiber, enamels or plastic, seems to find its marriage with metal, a unity that brings tradition into the non-traditional realm. The interaction between these materials pushes boundaries, guiding my hands to explore new avenues, while creating inspiring forms.

My hands, my tools, link me to these materials and what I create, textures which awaken the senses. How the bracelet or necklace feels when pressed against the skin, my jewelry comes alive, evoking reactions. My jewelry is meant to be worn and explored, played with and handled; an interaction is necessary between the piece and the wearer. Reaction, surprise and excitement are the wearer’s rewards. The viewer is drawn to the wearer’s interaction with the piece, invoking thought.

I create large scale, one of a kind pieces, giving me plenty of freedom to create at ease, and without compromise.
